Dosely is a medication reminder, medication tracking, pharmacy lookup, and health organization app provided by Proofsoft.

1. Information We Process

Dosely may process the following types of information depending on how you use the app.

Profile and App Preference Information

Dosely may store app-related preferences such as:

  • Profile name or display information you choose to enter
  • Date of birth, if provided
  • Avatar selection
  • App language
  • Notification settings
  • Reminder preferences
  • Premium access state
  • App onboarding or legal notice acknowledgement

Location Information

Dosely may request access to approximate or precise location only when you use location-based features, such as finding nearby on-duty pharmacies.

Location access is optional. If you deny location permission, you can still use medication tracking and manually search pharmacies by city or district where available.

Dosely does not use your location for advertising personalization.

Notification and Alarm Permissions

Dosely may request notification, exact alarm, vibration, foreground service, and full-screen alarm-related permissions to provide medication reminders, alarm screens, and reminder actions.

These permissions are used only to deliver reminder functionality that you configure in the app.

Files and Reports

If you export or share medication progress reports, Dosely may create local files such as PDF reports on your device. These files are created only when you use export or share features.

Dosely uses information to:

  • Show upcoming, missed, taken, and skipped medications

3. Local Storage

Most medication, reminder, note, stock, profile, and history data is stored locally on your device.

If you uninstall the app, clear app storage, or delete medication records inside the app, locally stored data may be removed from your device.

Some device or operating system services may affect storage, backup, or transfer behavior depending on your Android settings. Dosely is designed to limit backup of sensitive local medication data where supported.

4. Third-Party Services

Dosely may use third-party services to provide app functionality. These services may process limited technical, device, usage, purchase, advertising, diagnostic, or request-related data according to their own privacy policies.

Google Play Billing

Dosely may use Google Play Billing to process purchases and subscriptions. Payment and subscription information is handled by Google Play.

CollectAPI

Dosely may use CollectAPI or similar pharmacy data providers to fetch on-duty pharmacy information.

When you search for pharmacies, the request may include selected city, district, or location-derived area information needed to return pharmacy results.

Maps and Location Services

Dosely may use device location services, geocoding, or map-related functionality to show nearby pharmacy results or open external map apps. These services may process location or map interaction data according to their own privacy policies.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Medication, profile, reminder, stock, note, and history data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall Dosely.

You can delete local data by:

  • Deleting medications or notes inside the app
  • Clearing Dosely app storage from Android settings
  • Uninstalling Dosely

Subscription and purchase records are managed by Google Play and RevenueCat according to their own retention policies.

Ad, diagnostic, and technical data processed by third-party services is retained according to those providers’ policies.

7. Permissions

Dosely may request the following permissions depending on device version and enabled features:

  • Notifications: to send medication reminders
  • Exact alarms: to trigger medication reminders at scheduled times
  • Full-screen intent or alarm-related display behavior: to show medication alarm screens
  • Vibration: to alert you for reminders
  • Location: to find nearby on-duty pharmacies
  • Internet and network access: to load ads, validate subscriptions, and fetch pharmacy data
  • Boot completed: to restore reminders after device restart

You can manage permissions from Android system settings. Some features may not work fully if required permissions are denied.

8. Children and Sensitive Information

Dosely is intended for users who can responsibly manage medication reminders or for use with the assistance of a parent, guardian, caregiver, or healthcare professional.

Medication and health-related information can be sensitive. If you enter information about another person, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to do so.

Dosely is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent or supervision.

9. Security

Dosely uses platform security features and service providers that support encrypted network communication where applicable.

However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device, screen lock, Google account, and exported reports secure.

10. International Processing

Third-party service providers used by Dosely may process information in countries other than your own. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and applicable legal requirements.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, third-party services, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
